Today I have officially been to 50 states. I credit my travel bug to my mother who loved to travel and got me hooked early. Taking this trip cross country for four months in a tiny trailer has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have taken to calling this trip my “fall back in love with America tour” which was named by a colleague of mine in Colorado. And indeed I am in love with this country. It is full of fascinating, odd-ball and endearing people. For all the news and politicians want to focus on the many fault lines we have, there are many strings holding us together. Here’s to hosting as a nation we see mending as a cool new trend to jump on.
